That’s the idea behind World Travel Expo Year 10, which opens today at Ayala Malls Trinoma in Quezon City, its first-ever run at the venue.

From October 23 to 25, Trinoma becomes a gateway to destinations near and far. Stroll through the booths, meet the people who know these places best, and ask all the questions you’ve been saving up. No more scrolling through endless tabs and reviews on your own. Here, your next holiday starts with a real chat.

This stop is part of WTE’s nationwide Year 10 journey, themed “Xtraordinary Journeys, Xceptional Memories,” and it brings the expo to a brand-new audience in Metro Manila.

For Miles Caballero, Managing Director of World Travel Expo, taking the event to new communities has always been about connection.

“At its heart, World Travel Expo has always been about people. It is about the destinations that inspire us, the communities that welcome travelers, and the individuals who work behind every experience that makes a journey memorable,” Caballero said.

You can feel that in the the whole venue. Instead of reading a brochure, you hear a destination described by someone who lives and breathes it: the hidden beach they love, the festival you shouldn’t miss, the local dish worth planning a whole trip around. For exhibitors, it’s a chance to share the stories behind their offerings and meet the travelers who might one day walk through their doors. For visitors, it’s an invitation to look past the usual go-to spots and consider somewhere new.
