History has been made as the first Wish Ball in the Philippines was held on April 29, 2023. Organized by Make-A-Wish Foundation Philippines, this year’s Wish Ball entitled, “Where Stars Align” aimed to raise funds to grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. The night shined with hope and joy as supporters from near and far came together to support the cause.

Guests were treated to a special four-course dinner from The Peninsula Manila Hotel, and a 2-hour program hosted by Teresa Herrera and Rovilson Fernandez, featuring uplifting performances from OPM stars Ogie Alcasid, Jamie Rivera, and Basil Valdez.

They also witnessed remarkable opening acts by Auriz Llorens, Justin Taller, Rox Puno, Danimei Everett and the Make-A-Wish Kids and Genies Choir.

The most heartwarming moments of the evening featured inspiring anecdotes from former Wish Kids who came on stage to share about their wish experiences.

The first-ever Blue Carpet special live coverage was hosted by Chal Maling and Ryan Tresplacios. This was livestreamed online so that supporters at home could also make their donations.

At the end of the program, the ballroom was filled with cheers as the final donation results were revealed – the total amount of funds raised that evening are going to grant 347 wishes!

Behind the event’s success are PMCM Events Management and the entire production team, led by Director Frank Lloyd Mamaril. The Wish Ball was co-presented by Blogapalooza and Wish FM. With minor sponsors: Toy Kingdom and SM Prime Holdings, event supporters: Alveo Land, BBSI, Chubby Cheeks Studio, Culture Salon, Eleatist Kitchen, Maria Aesthic Wellness, Mary Kay Mission Area, New World Printing, Petals Of Love MNL, PMCM Events Management, Sugarhouse, Plascard Industrial Inc, Winner Strengths, and Xcruit, and media partners: NegoSentro, World Executive Digests, Bravo Filipino, Content Writers, Business Mirror, The Manila Times, LIGHT TV, Bounce Back Network, FH MOMS, WhenInManila.Com, Home Radio 97.9 and It’s MysSpace Show.
